People at Papenmeier

What makes a company what it is? Is it the products, the services offered or the employees?

Well, for us it’s all three together, but the employees are clearly the heart. Our well-trained and motivated employees have not only been part of the Papenmeier team for an average of 10 years, they are also available for you every day with heart and mind.

What motivates our team every day? Well, here are a few statements from our team members.

Armin Papenmeier

Chief Executive Officer

The Papenmeier company with its three divisions is very broadly based internally and it is important to me that it is clear both internally and in external communication that it is one company. From a company perspective, we are all Papenmeier, all employees and family members alike.

Furthermore, I am naturally excited about trying out new ideas and successfully continuing my father’s life’s work.

Commercial manager

Papenmeier is more to me than just an employer. I look forward to coming to work every day because, like every company, we have to overcome many small and large challenges. But due to the complexity of our products and services, the special relationship between customers and employees, solving these tasks is a great pleasure. The customer is the focus for us, and we experience this every day.

The long family tradition is reflected both in the management and in the cooperation within and with the teams. I am happy to be part of this Papenmeier “family” and to contribute to its further development!

Harry Braun

Head of Technical Service

I face new technical challenges every day and I enjoy solving these technical problems every day. I also enjoy working in the field and dealing directly with customers.

Basically, my job is the perfect combination for me, not just office work, not just writing on the assembly line and not just field work.

Doctors say about their day-to-day work that you don’t know what will happen in the next five minutes, which makes the job always exciting. It’s not quite that fast-paced here, but every customer workplace is special in its own way, which I personally find very exciting. You learn something new every day in our service work because phenomena can occur that are so unique and the solution to the problem cannot be googled.

Internally, the relationship at Papenmeier is always very familiar to me. You can always call any colleague and get help at any time.

Anne Kochanek

Customer Service RehaTechnik

Above all, I am motivated when I can help customers. When at the end of a phone call I’m told: “You’ve helped me a lot. I’m so grateful to you.“ or: ”Now I’m getting a bit further.”

But motivation also includes a good collegial environment. I enjoy working with others or simply exchanging a word with them.

But I also have other tasks from time to time. You can find excerpts and anecdotes from my day-to-day work here.
