JAWS Driver for BRAILLEX EL displays, for JAWS versions 10 and above

On this page, you will find the latest certified JAWS driver for all BRAILLEX EL devices, for JAWS versions 10 and above, rev. 5.2.1.1117 (64 bit version) and 5.2.1.1118 (32 bit version), including an installation program that automates the installation procedure.

Especially for the 64-bit version of the program, you will need a certified driver for your Braille display.

Please observe the following steps:

  • Download the driver (see link below) and unzip the file.
  • Make sure JAWS version 10 or above is installed.
  • Connect the display and, if prompted, install the USB driver.
  • Run the unzipped jaws_driver_brx-el_signed.exe file and follow the instructions of the installation program.
  • Restart JAWS and your display will be working.
