BRAILLEX EL 66s is a desktop unit with 66 interactive Braille cells. 66 cells perfectly accommodate the proportionally spaced text lines of a Windows document. Even long lines rarely have more than 130 characters. The Easy Access Bar makes it a very attractive medium-size Braille display.
Easy to Install and Use
Thanks to USB "plug & play" and "hot swap" features, you simply connect the Braille display to your computer, start your favorite screen reader program and go!
Alternatively, you can also connect the device to a serial port of your computer.
Perfect Ergonomics
BRAILLEX EL 66s has newly designed slightly concave cells, formed to follow the curves of your fingertips. The cursor-routing keys are integrated into the cells in a way that minimal movement of the fingers allows exact and comfortable operation.
The "s" in its name stands for "slim line", and you can take it for granted. With only 22 mm (0.87") height, BRAILLEX EL 66s is one of the flattest Braille displays worldwide. The light but sturdy aluminum-magnesium housing perfectly fits a regular size keyboard on top of it.
