BRAILLEX EL 40sd the smallest desktop display in our product range. The unit with its 40 interactive cells is just as wide as a regular computer keyboard is - a very attractive display for those who look for a moderately priced unit of the latest generation with all the comfort Papenmeier's slim-line EL displays provide.
Easy to Install and Use
Thanks to USB "plug & play" and "hot swap" features, you simply connect the Braille display to your computer, start your favorite screen reader program and go!
Alternatively, you can also connect the device to a serial port of your computer.
Perfect Ergonomics
BRAILLEX EL 40sd offers a choice of traditional flat Braille cells or newly designed slightly concave cells, formed to follow the curves of your fingertips. The cursor-routing keys are integrated into the cells in a way that minimal movement of the fingers allows exact and comfortable operation.
The user interface for the major screen readers is menu-based and very easy to learn and operate.
